Looking forward to seeing a movie… in the theater… It’s been a while since I last saw one in the theater. Probably the last movie was Constantine which was 3 weeks ago. Ok, so it wasn’t that long ago. There was a time when I used to see a new movie almost every week. Typically, on Friday, I’d go see whatever new movie was opening up with Jason (please visit his website here.) I can remember many a Friday when we’d wait in line for the blockbusters. Jurassic Park 2, Star Wars, Independence Day, Godzilla (that wasn’t quite worth the wait.) And then we got girlfriends and well, many things changed… for the better of course 🙂
And now that DVD is everywhere, I find myself thinking that I’d rather just spend $15 on the DVD of a movie and watch it at home whenever I want, instead of the $20 to go see a movie. At least then I own the movie and can sell it if it’s no good (I like owning movies too as obvious as it may seem with the DVD Spot Collection that I have permanently linked on the side of my blog.)
Oh, and by the way, the whole point of my post, I’m seeing Robots tomorrow night. Expect a full review after.
